Guys with a mission; that’s what describes WE ARE THE KNIGHT. The Punk Rock / Pop Punk sensation from Amersfoort, the Netherlands, was formed in the summer of 2011 out of a group of friends and seasoned musicians. Their goal? To play as many shows as possible and write the best Punk Rock record ever. On February 16th they get one step closer to that goal with the release of their 5-track EP October.
“We all played together in previous bands in Amersfoort,” says guitarist Joris Postulart. “Our passion for Punk Rock reunited us after all these years, and we’re very excited to be writing and playing music again. It has been
our dream for years to release a record and totour Europe, and we’re working our asses off to make that happen.”The catchy and melodic Punk Rock of We Are The Knight can be compared to No Use For A Name and New Found Glory, and finds its origin in the American Punk Rock sound. The release show at Onder De Linde in the band’s hometown, promises to be the underground Punk Rock show of the year, with more people attending the Facebook-event than the venue’s capacity can hold.
We Are The Knight is currently planning a European tour to spread buzz on an international level, which will be announced shortly.
