1 min read

VERSUS THE WORLD, which features members LAGWAGON and THE ATARIS, are streaming a new song called “Mason Grace”, taken from their upcoming album “Drink. Sing. Live. Love.”, which arrives on July 17th.

Versus The World

Here’s the official word:

Made up of Mike Davenport (The Ataris), Chris Flippin (Lagwagon), Donald Spence and Bryan Charleson (Crooks and Liars), Versus The World have over a decade of experience in some of punk rock’s most revered bands. The band released their self-titled album in 2005 on Kung Fu Records and spent the next several years touring in support with bands like Suicide Machines, Bouncing Souls, The Lawrence Arms, Social Distortion, No Use For A Name, The Vandals, I Am The Avalanche and the Vans Warped Tour.

Versus The World’s new album, Drink. Sing. Live. Love., finds the band at their best, combining years of experience and honed ability to craft incredible songs. Produced by Thom Flowers (The Ataris) at Playback Recording and Orange Whip studios in Santa Barbara, mixed by Ian MacGregor (All American Rejects, Katy Perry) and mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Drink. Sing. Live. Love. features thirteen fist pumping tracks that fuse elements of post-hardcore, pop-punk and rock on tracks like “She Sang The Blues”, “Mason Grace” and the upcoming single “A Fond Farewell.”

“We want everyone to know that after two years of hard work, our new album Drink. Sing. Live. Love. is coming out July 31st on Viking Funeral Records,” says Davenport. “This is the most exciting album I have been a part of since the release of The Ataris’ record So Long Astoria. Please check out the album and check us out on tour this July with our friends and label mates Authority Zero, we both have just returned from a great European tour and are ready to take on America.”

Versus The World will hit the road this summer, playing dates with Unwritten Law and Authority Zero in support of Drink. Sing. Live. Love
