The Caulfield Cult were a Singapore punk and emo band. Their catalogue began in the early 2010s, and their third full-length, “Cult”, came out in 2016 with Nicholas Wong on vocals and guitar, Brian Chiong on bass and backing vocals, Feroze McLeod on guitar and Andrew Kellocks on drums. The band broke up in 2017.
A 2016 interview around “Cult” caught the band at the centre of their final album cycle, while “I Can’t Save You” featured Patrick Kindlon of Self Defense Family. In 2015 they released the EP “Half Empty” and made a tour documentary with director Ryan Chang from their European tour.
A ten-year look back at “Cult”, published in March 2026, returned to the album’s writing on jealousy, self-loathing and burnout.
