Sure the year might be coming to an end, but this does not mean that the alternative rock scene is going to stop and take a break. So read on as we get up to date with new release from Flyleaf, In This Moment, Manchester Orchestra, Marmozets, Transit, whilst also getting excited about some of the best upcoming tours including: Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Taking Back Sunday, Funeral For A Friend, Devil Sold His Soul, The Defiled and MANY more!

Yellowcard have been a key part of the alternative rock scene over the years, and after a strong comeback with their epic album “When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes” they have proved that they can thrive in this “adapt or die” climate. So it’s a pleasure to be joined by their frontman Ryan Key for our main feature as the band discuss their latest instalment “Lift a Sail”.

In our features section we catch up with Scylla Records, Jesper Kyd (worked on the music for Borderlands: The Pre-sequel & Assassin’s Creed), as well as the graphic artist Lee Sullivan who tells us what it’s been like to work with iconic characters from the Transformers and Doctor Who world.

Once again we get our writers to pick their top album of the year, and by looking at the feature it looks like we have a nice range of different genres! So have a look as there might be an epic record in there that you haven’t checked out just yet!
