THE REMEMBERABLES (members of COKE BUST, WALK THE PLANK) premiere new S/T record

We've teamed up with ADAGIO830 label to give you the full stream of the debut record from THE REMEMBERABLES, grungy 90s alt rock act featuring members of several hardcore bands that managed to craft incredibly pleasurable, nostalgic, and driving sound, and provide us with a one hell of a listen for this Summer. For fans of SUPERCHUNK, THE HORRIBLE CROWES, and WEEZER.
The Rememberables
2,5 years after the release of their debut EP, THE REMEMBERABLES, the new alt rock act featuring Chris Moore of COKE BUST (see our latest interview HERE), return with a classy debut full length that sees the band finding their way as solid songwriters in their own right. Drawing influences from several grunge tinged fuzz pop / alt rock bands from the 90s, the self titled delivers an enjoyable listen from start to finish, and besides its obvious influences, it has a balance that keeps it from going full-tilt in just one direction. Don’t let them join the pantheon of hundreds of overlooked bands and be sure to give ’em a listen. It’s utterly compelling.

THE REMEMBERABLES’ new S/T record is out on July 15th via ADAGIO830. Pre-order HERE and listen to the full record below! Also, THE REMEMBERABLES are doing a show on July 14th, so be sure to drop by if you’re near. See the flyer below and RSVP HERE.

The Rememberables (members of Coke Bust, Walk the Plank, etc.), from Washington D.C., deliver a modern blend of grunge, power pop and fuzzy 90s alternative, reminiscent of Superchunk, Weezer, & Dinosaur Jr., on their infectious debut album. Seven blistering tracks serve as a perfect accompaniment for your summer drive — windows down, hair blowing, engine roaring fast down endless highways.

The band shared the following on the content of the record:

“Definitely a break up record, without a doubt. The songs were written holed up in a basement room of a house in the midst of a breakup and chronicles the aftermath of it, too – all the awkward changes, new found (and inevitable failures of) love, the dark alleys we travel to find new meaning and purpose, the self-reflection and perception we only gain in hindsight – all make an appearance on this record.”

… and commented on choosing the engineer for this recording:

“Tim (lead guitarist) and Chris (drummer) had done work with Kevin Bernsten (from Developing Nations studio in Baltimore MD) with their other bands. Known for doing work with hardcore and metal bands like Triac, Ilsa, Coke Bust, and LTW, we knew he’d bring a visceral and primal energy to our grungy pop vibes that other engineers might polish over.”
