Recall: KID DYNAMITE’s first show ever, 1998

KID DYNAMITE performed live for the first time as a band on April 25, 1998 at the YWCA in Philadelphia, PA. The full video documenting that gig can be watched below.

KID DYNAMITE was one of the most influential melodic hardcore bands ever, featuring members of LIFETIME, NONE MORE BLACK, PAINT IT BLACK, ARMALITE, THE LOVED ONES, and various different acts. The band’s laest official release was a DVD called “Four Years In One Gulp”, released in 2006. Their last full length effort “Cheap Shots, Youth Anthems” was released in 2003 on Jade Tree Records. The most recent non-official release featuring KID DYNAMITE tracks was “Carry the Torch: A Tribute to Kid Dynamite”, put out by Get Outta Town Records in 2009.

KID DYNAMITE played their last show in 2000 and reunited 5 years later – videos documenting that gigs can be found at this location. They also played reunion gigs at This Is Hardcore fest in 2010 and Fuck Yeah Fest, The Fest 10 and FunFunFunFest in 2011. They are no more cince 2013.
