Nebraska metallic hardcore / metalcore act PURGATORY will release their new record “Gospel of War” on 7″ via Escapist Records!

Escapist Records is very excited to announce that we will be working with Nebraska’s Purgatory on their upcoming release. The metal-influenced hardcore five-piece is the latest in a string of band’s bringing recognition to the Midwest hardcore scene. Since forming in 2011 the band has made a name for themselves supporting the Rabid Visions and Hell On Earth EPs with consistent touring throughout the entire U.S., which includes appearances at Not Just Talk and Midwest Blood fests as well as shows alongside Terror, Merauder, Ringworm, and The Beautiful Ones.
Recorded by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios (Harm’s Way, Discourse, Weekend Nachos) and being mastered by Brad Boatright at Audio Siege (Xibalba, Code Orange, All Pigs Must Die), Escapist Records will release the band’s brand new offering, Gospel Of War, this Fall on 7” vinyl and digital formats. The six-track release will be available on three color-ways and come with a digital download.
