It’s been over 2 years since the latest EP “The Stitched Mouth” from Rybnik, Poland’s FUELING THE FIRE, and it is our pleasure to report that the progressive, ambient rock act has returned with a brand new EP, serving as the first chapter of their new 2 EP offering. The band introduced more space and ambient soundscapes to their post hardcore sound and it’s only a beginning, cause part 2 will feature even more post rock inspired approach! Recorded at Satanic Audio, mixed by Kevin Dye (GATES, OWEL, ATHLETICS), and mastered by Mike Kalajian (MOVING MOUNTAINS, PRAWN, SAOSIN), the record is a teaser for a well-thought project, whose passion will seep into your mind and make you realize it has made a more than promising comeback. “Shifting, Vol. I” gives the band the emotional climax that their previous tracks lacked and it warrants repeated listens.
