Miss The Stars Records releases new aesthetically rich screamo sampler; contributes to anti-sexual violence organization RAINN

(We built the world and) miss the stars blog and label presents Screamo Sampler VI; featuring 27 tracks of captivating, passionate pieces that should earn the bands a larger audience.
Miss The Stars!
DIY labels like Miss The Stars Records have been called ‘screamo’ due to its core influence, but they’ve also got grittiness, richness and smoothness more well-defined, one-dimensional bands could use. The collection is one of the year’s most notable variations of modern screamo, post hardcore, progressive hardcore, post rockish skramz, or whatever you might like to call it. And for all the claims to be interested in only screaming their lungs out, there is an underlying delicacy to most of these artists’ palate. Listen for yourself.

The record is available in pay-what-you-want manner. All proceeds will go to RAINN, America’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.
