Southern California act DEAR FURIOUS hasn’t been together for particularly long, however, the collective hardcore punk band experience of its members spans decades. Launched in 2016, the metallic hardcore group features vocalist Isaac Golub (A Chorus of Disapproval, A18), guitarist Mike Hartsfield (Outspoken, Strife), drummer Matt Horwitz (Adamantium), bassist Marc Jackson (Throwdown), and guitarist Brian Manry (Mean Season). Pummeling riffs, bruising vocals, and incisive lyrics permeate their output. Here is their newest single, “Ghost Writer” featuring James Hart of 18 VISIONS.

The band will be playing their first show on July 2 at Rev Fest in Riverside, CA (alongside Gorilla Biscuits, Judge, and more)! GO HERE for more details.

Lyrics:

vile incantations and something inside me comes alive, deep from the hollows i avoid. way too close encounter it is clear i am not alone, earworm of the witch just a decoy. would it be ok if we follow you home? you will never even know that they there at all. would it be ok if we float through your walls? so much to see when the beckoning calls. driving parasomnia heaves to a point i am soon swept up, strapped in tight ride the ghost. mild possession enough to curdle cream and kill the crops, unsafe haven from pillar to post. would it be ok if we swallow your soul? take you in and treat you as if one of our own. would it be ok if we possess your skin? invite us in to the hell you call home. close my eyes so tight enough the optics could implode, force my teeth together grind and snap and shatter bone. just so you know, i go where you go. just so you know, not in here alone. boo. we in here, but not alone.
