Indie pop punk rock band LUTHER calls it quits (2010-2015)

1 min read

Philly’s pop punk rockers from LUTHER have announced they are calling it a day. The band will be performing live for the last time at this year’s Home For The Holidays hosted by THE BOUNCING SOULS. See the official word and check out their tunes below.

Hey Friends,
We here have some good and bad news. I’ll give you the good first!
We’re playing a show! (it’s been a bit, hu?) Our good good friends at Chunksaah Records and the Bouncing Souls are putting on their annual Home For The Holidays events and we’ve been fortunate enough to get our own after party. Monday, December 28th at the Asbury Park Yacht Club after the Stone Pony show (with The Bouncing Souls, The Loved Ones, Static Radio NJ, and ROGER HARVEY). Our friend Sara M. will be DJing the show as well. All the info for the show is located at http://chunksaah.com/H4TH2015/
Now for the bad news. We’ve decided that this will be the last Luther show. I know, I know, you’re upset and torn apart by this sad news and it seems like the world is ending and the walls are caving in but everything will be alright, I swear! Nick is playing in a great band called All Dogs – www.facebook.com/alldogsoh/
and Phil is playing in a wonderful band called the spirit of the beehive. – www.facebook.com/thespiritofthebeehive/
We cannot thank enough the people that have bought our records and came out to all the shows over the past 5 years. Especially everyone that have helped us get so far, Black Numbers and Chunksaah Records (Kate truly is Great).
Hopefully we’ll see you at the Asbury Park Yacht Club!
-Andy, Nick, and Phil
