1 min read

Alt grunge punk rockers from CONTRAIL have once again joined their forced with IDIOTEQ and I am greatly honored to give you their newets single called “Crowded Places”, to be released on their upcoming split with a couple of European bands, to be detailed very soon! The new track delivers a fine set and performance, blending emo, punk and alternative sounds to create their unique sonic remembrance of the 90s. Check out its loose flow and scroll down to see a couple of their first of probably many shows to come. Bon appétit!

The band commented on the track:

[EN] I wouldn’t say that Crowded Places is about one particular thing. I feel like despite it’s short length, it touches on topics such as anxiety, the feeling that we have to live up to somebody elses expectations or feeling lonely despite the people around you. Did you ever feel like somebody’s trying to bring you down just because? If yes, this song is about you.

Lyrics:

And here you go again
Almost faded to grey
In crowded places
We lack company again
Every thought of your laughter
Takes my breath away
Every sip of the silence
Reminds me of when

You buried me
Behind the sign
But I got away
The day I tried to stay alive
You suffocated me

Oh dear friend
It scares me
The times we live in, I mean
When we are expected
To be happy
‘Cause we’ve got everything
