GHOSTxSHIP will be doing a short string of farewell shows in April, with one final show in August.

To: All our friends
Over the past 2 years we have met some of the most amazing people. We have traveled far and wide and played some mind-blowing shows. We have had the honor of making friends with great bands, promoters and so many others. We also spent a great deal of time in our home of Syracuse building trust and friendships. We have poured our hearts into keeping the flame of Syracuse hardcore alive. We have become the band we are today with the dedication and support from all of you. Syracuse hardcore is alive and well and we are proud to call the 315 our home.
This chapter of our lives has been absolutely incredible.
As we move and grow with our lives, priorities change. We have come to that inevitable crossroad. For no single reason and with heavy hearts it is time to say goodbye. We feel that since we cannot pursue the band with the time and energy it needs to stay active, it is better for us to lay it to rest. We do not want the music we love to become a burden. All of us are so busy with jobs and families that it’s cutting into the time we need to devote to being in an active band. Since we don’t want to do this half assed, its better to just step down and move on.
Here’s the thing… We have NO intentions of just playing a few shows and fading away. No, that’s not how we do things. We are going to be playing weekends and festivals all summer. We will uphold as many obligations as possible and we will try to get to as many places as we can. This will all culminate in August of 2015.
On August 29th and 30th in Syracuse NY we will be holding a 2 day long banger at the St. Clare Theater. We will be inviting all the bands that we have become friends with and played with to come and help us party. More importantly, we are asking anyone and everyone that has ever supported Ghost X Ship to come out and show us some love one last time. We will close the festivities on Sunday August 30th 2015. The only way we know how to do this is by having the biggest party ever. We are calling on everyone to come help us sink the ship with craziest set Syracuse has ever seen. (Like that STYG show x10!!!) So please plan on being a part of our last show. Mark your calendars. 8/30/15
