French lo-fi garage rockers ESCOBAR streaming their latest record “Bird of Prey”; playing local shows

1 min read

ESCOBAR, a French duet of Rémi (WEIRD’OMEN, ANOMALYS) and Charly (THE BUSHMEN, DARIA) have released their 2nd album “Bird of Prey” on Beast Records and I Love Limoges Records in September 2016, and it finds the band taking listeners on a raw, lo-fi and very comfortable trip over 10 tracks of vintage, psych tinged, and confident rock’n’roll. While it may not bring anything too new to the table, it still makes for a really solid listen. After a brief European run in June, the band has three more shows planned for this Summer, so feel free to catch them if you’re near.

Some weep workforce reductions, even when it comes to go to the essentials. This 2 headed UFO which is Escobar could make them lie.

Between the ecstatic rock’n’roll guitar/voice one the right and the suddenly chilled sword right down in the back by its rhythmic pairs, Escobar drift among several gambling dens in the pay of Suicide or that of Jack White.

Tradition of the two man band shaken by a fateful mechanics, rock’n’roll legacy vinified vitriolic, Escobar is a pirate galleon, operating in cold waters, a two-headed Cerberus, still bloodied by the feast of the useless third.
