French alt rockers WOLVE streaming new EP

1 min read
Driven by a sense of urgency and contrary to their first record, “Sleepwalker”, WOLVE desired to produce an EP as spontaneously as possible. Mainly recorded live to capture the band’s energy, this led to a rawer and more organic sound. The band’s newest offering “Lazare” touches on themes such as resilience, duality, anger, ego… through a soundscape recalling a state of limbo, alternating aerial and brutal passages, making the music evoke a shamanic trance. “Lazare” proves to be able to push the adventurous qualities further to outstanding effect and contains some pretty awesome potential. If it’s any indication of their future, I’m really looking forward to seeing where they end up. Listen below and tell us what you think.

WOLVE is: Julien Sournac, Alexandre Aguilera and Simon Lemonnier. The band is currently on tour. GO HERE to check out the dates and be sure to support them if you’re near.
