Finnish crossover hardcore act FORESEEN stream their debut album in full!

1 min read

Boasting a distinctly Finnish rawness and hostility, bringing back a vengeful streetwise edge to thrash that’s largely been missing for years, the quality and potency of Helsinki Savagery undoubtedly proves that FORESEEN is among the elite of today’s crossover scene, infusing a lethal urgency and unrestrained devotion to crafting ideal songs for wild, anarchic live shows, documenting a band in its hungry, formative prime.Helsinki Savagery was recorded in full analog and mixed at Black Floyd’s Analog Lab by Tapio Lepistö, the CD and digital mastering handled by James Plotkin and the full analog chain LP mastering by Timmion Records, and culminating with the appropriately grim thrash cover art by Eetu Blomqvist and Chad Keith, VICE Magazine’s music channel, Noisey, deemed Helsinki Savagery, “a required purchase if you ever owned a denim jean vest, or at least a copy of either Vio-lence’s Eternal Nightmare or Nuclear Assault’s Game Over.”

Following initial reports of a late November release, 20 Buck Spin advanced the album’s CD and digital releases, making their official North American street date this Tuesday, November 11th, the European release remaining at November 24th. But now the label will make Helsinki Savagery available even earlier, with a full stream now live at the label’s Bandcamp arsenal alongside all ordering options.

Stay tuned for additional info on the impending LP edition of the album under construction for launch February 3rd in a cooperative strike with Take It Back Records in Europe.

Following the tumult of the band’s two-week Helsinki Savagery 2014 Tour across Europe, FORESEEN is devising new live offensives to be announced in the near future and into 2015 when the band plans to infiltrate North America for the first time.
