Dirty grind metal/hardcore hybrids FAMINE and THE ART OF BURNING WATER release new split record

1 min read

UK skudgy metal/hardcore hybrid THE ART OF BURNING WATER have teamed up with Leeds’ grind fastcore act FAMINE for a new split offering. The record was just released on Dead Heroes label and Superfi Records and is available below. Check it out and catch the bands at the following stops, detailed below.

Both bands may be a little on the dark side, but their brutal and exhilarating delivery makes you reconsider descending into the depths of hell just to taste the brutal, and strangely enjoyable experience.

High-capacity reservoir of fastcore/grind bands. This is what the UK has become to Europe. Another squad that has deserved their time on the scene are FAMINE from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Harsh and primitive, fast grind/fastcore with slowing passages that are so typical for this style.

A band that has toured almost the whole of Europe and shared the stage with the bands of a similar nature like THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMEN or CHIENS. Their debut album „Razzin“ is serious piece of shit ;-) Fastcore madness as hell.

ART OF BURNING WATER refuse to die despite being one of the most frowned upon bunch of noise making twats of the past 10 years. Art Of Burning Water are a steroided immigrant noise punk outfit that does not need to be loved to live.

This is strong music by weak people. For fans of: Keelhaul, Rorschach, Voivod, Amebix, Godflesh and Motorhead.

ART OF BURNING WATER live dates:

14/07/17 – London @ Kamio w/ Full Of Hell, Unyielding Love, Grief Tourist, Working Men’s Club
21/07/17 – London @ Unicorn w/ Ghold, Torpor, Human Leather
