The band is currently in Getaway Studios in Wakefield, MA recording their final outing. Aaron Dalbec (guitars) commented: “We are so excited to finally hit the studio to record what will be our final record. Fans can expect a record that spans the sounds and emotions of nearly 20 years of being a band.”

Here’s the press release:

Longtime Equal Vision Records’ band Bane has entered Getaway Studios in Wakefield, MA, to begin recording for their fourth – and final – full-length album, Don’t Wait Up. The new album is being recorded with producer Jay Maas (Defeater, Bane).

Since their inception in 1995, Bane has toured all across the world countless times and has released three full-length albums: 1999’s It All Comes Down To This, 2001’s Give Blood, and 2005’s The Note, in addition to several 7”, EP and compilation releases.
